Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics runs only after you choose Allow analytics. It runs on
our public marketing and legal pages, not on provider discovery, sign-in,
account, booking, care or API pages. It receives only the approved page path
and title, and one of three fixed marketing-link names (find_care, sign_in
or linkedin). We do not send form entries, account IDs, health information,
URL query strings or referrers to Google Analytics.
Google Analytics uses first-party _ga cookies and may process limited
browser/device and connection information to provide its service. Its default
analytics cookies can last up to two years; we configure GA4 event-level
exploration data to be retained for two months. We use separate GA4 properties
for monovella.com and staging.monovella.com; local development and automated
tests do not run analytics.
What we don't use
We don't use advertising cookies and don't sell or share cookie data with advertisers.
Your choices
Strictly necessary cookies can't be switched off without breaking sign-in and security. Before we enable Google Analytics, we ask you to choose Allow analytics or Essential only. Choosing Essential only means we must not load Google Analytics and does not affect your access to Monovella. You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie Policy page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser at any time; doing so will sign you out and may stop parts of the app from working.
If you change to Essential only after allowing analytics, we stop future
Google Analytics collection and remove its _ga cookies from your browser.
Changing your choice does not erase information Google already received; ask
our data protection officer if you need help with a data-rights request.
International processing
Google may process analytics information outside Nigeria. Before activation, we record the applicable Google data-processing terms and cross-border transfer safeguards. Analytics remains optional and is separate from the health-data consents used in the Monovella service.
